Gazprom says January–July output falls by 12% to 262.4 bcm
MOSCOW, Aug 1 (PRIME) -- The output of Russian gas giant Gazprom decreased by 12% on the year to 262.4 billion cubic meters (bcm) between January and July, the company said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Monday.
Gas exports to the non-CIS states fell by 34.7% on the year to 75.3 bcm.
Exports to China via the Sila Sibiri pipeline increased by 60.9% on the year in the period, the company said.
Global demand for gas in January-July decreased by 35 bcm compared to the same period last year, the key factor was the decline in demand in the E.U., the company said.
